Queens is the most ethnically diverse region in the world - where more than half the population speaks a language other than English as their mother tongue. Unsurprisingly therefore, the best of authentic ethnic street foods can be easily found all over Queens. But is there one place where one can sample most of those varieties of delicacies without having to travel around Queens? International Night Market has been providing clues to that for many years now.
In the corner of 100,000-square foot parking lot by Hall of Science, Queens Night Market (QNM) has been hosting around 100 food vendors every year, featuring food, merchandise, art and cultural performances. This year was no exception and was a welcome back for New Yorkers after a grueling COVID break. Open-air night market, family friendly, aromatic and musical - what’s not to love about QNM?
